Mallard Creek Polymers Discusses Adhesive Options Available to...

Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. would like to invite you to discuss novel polymer concepts to achieve challenging adhesive requirements at the upcoming PSTC Tape Summit.

Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. (MCP) would like to invite you to Booth 6 to discuss novel polymer concepts to achieve challenging adhesive requirements. MCP exhibited at the PSTC meeting for the first time in 2014, but has a long history of participating in this industry. The company continues to create innovative styrene-butadiene emulsion polymers to complement the PSA products like Rovene® 4423, Rovene 6105, and Rovene 4813 (for removable products). The use of the company's published In-Process Modification technology (2007 PSTC) coupled with new developments in tackifier chemistry provides low-cost formulation options to the skilled formulation scientist. Because the company is driven to customize products for individual clients, the opportunity for developing lower cost or improved performance is clearly achievable. In recent work with different tackifiers, Rovene 5044 demonstrated shear and tack equal to industry standard, high solids acrylic adhesives. Styrene-butadiene chemistry has always demonstrated outstanding shear performance and specific adhesion to difficult substrates.

MCP continues to expand their line of Acrylic Polymer Emulsions for the Pressure Sensitive Adhesive industry. Additionally, the company is developing new products for masking tape production. MCP has recently redesigned its all-purpose tape saturant grade, Rovene 5010N, to provide improved productivity on machine while meeting high temperature resistance requirements. This product, the tape release grades, Rovene 6090 and 6091, the many adhesive products, and new acrylic polymers for paper saturation, form a complete product line for masking and specialty tape products. Details on these products and others can be obtained in the Pressure Sensitive Adhesives Product Selection Guide.
